1/2 pound bacon chopped
1 medium onion chopped
4 celery chopped
2 T GF flour
2-3 medium potatoes (diced)
2 Tbs butter
8 ounces clam juice
2 10 ounces cans of chopped clams
2-3 cups milk
2 T butter
1/2 tsp thyme

In a large saucepan fry the bacon. Remove bacon and brown onion and celery in bacon fat.
Add butter and flour till mixed.
Add potatoes and clam juice including juice from tinned clams. Bring to simmer until pots are not quite cooked.
Add rest of ingredients, including cooked bacon. Simmer for several mins until cooked through.
