It would not have been a complete birthday without trifle.

I used a sugar free jello that I had in the cupboard. Let it cool and hardened completely in the fridge.
I made a pint of custard and added it to the top of the chilled jello slowly and in two batches. The heat of the custard can start to melt the jello.


Once again I let the jello and added custard completely chill in the fridge.

The last step is to add whipped cream and decorate with some grated chocolate on top.



All I had to calculate was the carbs in the custard, per portion it was less than 10 carbs.
