I made these for my children to munch on after our two hour dog hike.

9 oz gluten free oats
Using a mixture of different sized oats gives a nice texture.
4 oz brown sugar
8 oz butter

Melt the butter in a pan. Add oats and sugar, stir well.
Pat down into an 8″ square tin, lined or well greased.
Bake at 350 for 20 mins until golden brown.
Slice while still warm then leave in the tin until cold.

Makes 12. Approx 23 carbs each but depends on what oats you use.
