New York Steak

In a hot cast iron pan I seared the steaks for five mins each side. Then transferred them onto a baking sheet with drip tray. Bake 375 for 10 mins.

Carrots

I peeled and sliced them length ways. Placed them on a lined baking tray. Sprayed with a little oil and sprinkled with garlic salt. Baked at 375 for 45 mins

Sautéed Rutabagas with garlic and maple syrup.

I peeled and cubed 3lbs rutabagas, placed on a baking tray and baked for 20 mins.
In the pan I seared the steaks I added a little oil then sautéed the rutabagas for 10 mins. Then added 4 garlic cloves finely chopped, 3 T red wine vinegar, 3 T maple syrup, and 1 t red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil till everything is well mixed.

Serve and eat. Yum.
