Cherry Torta

3 cups of pitted cherries
1/4 cup slivered blanched almonds
5 large eggs
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup all purpose flour
11/2 cups whole milk
1 t almond extract
2 t vanilla extract
Confectioners sugar

Butter and flour 9×13 dish
Place cherries and almonds in dish.
Whisk eggs, sugar, and flour together.
Add milk, almond extract, vanilla extract, and whisk until smooth.
Pour batter over cherries.
Bake at 350 for 40 mins.
Do not over bake.
Cool and dust with confectioners sugar.
