Large frying pan
3.5lb ground beef – brown

Medium frying pan
Soften –
1 onion chopped
3 medium carrots chopped
Add
1 6oz tin tomato purée
1 cup red wine
1 T thyme
1 T rosemary
4 cloves of garlic
1 cup of stock if needed
Simmer for several minutes then add to meat mixture and combine well.

Peel and boil 4 lbs potatoes.
Save a little water to add back if needed.
Add a stick of butter and mash

Place meat mixture in a large dish 10 x 15″ and cover with mashed potatoes.
